THE JACK RUSSELL MEMORIAL LIBRARY WAS SELECTED AS
THE BEST PUBLIC PROJECT FOR 2011 IN THE METRO-MILWAUKEE
AREA. THE ANNOUCEMENT WAS MADE AT THE ANNUAL BUSINESS
JOURNAL REAL ESTATE AWARDS LUNCHEON ON FRIDAY, APRIL 20, AT
THE MILWAUKEE HILTON. MAYOR JOSEPH DAUTERMANN AND
LIBRARY BOARD PRESIDENT DOROTHY ALGIERS ACCEPTED THE AWARD ON

The Library welcomes the 2nd Graders from Lincoln
School for a tour on Tuesday, May 22.
The Youth Library staff will be visiting all area
school to promote the activities for the summer reading
club. The children will be receiving a summer
calendar of events.
The Friends of the Library are proud to offer
a new Literacy Program for Hartford area people.
"Learning Partners" volunteers will be at the library Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00,
and on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00
to assist with reading skills, computer help, job
skills, English language assistance and basic
homework aid for high schoolers. For specific
