Director's Greeting

After 31 years as serving as the director of the Hartford/Jack Russell Memorial Library, I have retired as of January 3. Thanks to great community support across these many years, the library is now located in a much more welcoming and effective facility, is open to all residents of neighboring townships, and is linked together with 26 other local libraries. It has been a truly enjoyable career in Hartford, and I want to thank all the people and businesses who supported library programs and activities with donations of time, talent, products or money to help us accomplish the goal of better community service. I will plan on seeing you around town, or better yet, back in the library as I join any of you in becoming a regular user.
