  • Summer Reading Program Online Sign-up & Reading Record Forms - You can sign-up in the Library or online using the appropriate form for each child being registered.  If you sign-up online, a reading record will made for use during your next library visit.  Please stop by the Children's Desk to turn in take-home reading slips.   
  • Movies for Grown-ups is back. Thursday evening movies begin at 5:30pm and Friday afternoon movies begin at 12:30pm in the Community Room.  Snacks from home are welcome!  Due to the ratings of the movices, attendance for children is not recommended. 
    • June 4 & 5 - Citizenfour
    • July 2 - Selma
    • July 16 & 17 - Cake
    • July 30 & 31 - Still Alice
    • August 6 & 7 - What we do in the Shadows
    • August 27 & 28 - Ida, Poland

  • Catch up with your favorite Marvel superheroes every other Tuesday afternoon starting at 2pm with our Marvel(ous) Movie Series in the Community Room.  Snacks from home are welcome!  No registration required.  All films are rated PG-13.  Teens get a bonus superdraw ticket for attending through August 4!

  • Escape the heat at the Library with our Summer Family Movie Series.  Our fun family film Friday afternoons start at 2pm & Saturday mornings at 10am.  Snacks from home are welcome!  No registration required.  Children under eight(8) must be accompanied by an adult.

The Friends of the Hartford Library are proud to offer a Literacy Program called Learning Partners.  Appointments may be made with volunteers to assist with reading skills, computer help, job skills, English as a second language and basic homework aid for high school students.  For specific information on this program, please 673-3341 or 673-2903.
 

 

 

The Jack Russelll Memorial Library is pleased to offer this Early Literacy Program as part of a state-wide program called Growing Wisconsin Readers.  Our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is open to any child beginning at birth until they start kindergarten.
