Meeting Room Space
 
The Library has five(5) rooms available for use by the public on a first come first serve basis.  The Community Room has a capacity of 100 people seated or 150 people standing per fire code.  There are three (3) small study rooms on the second floor.  Room 208 seats six(6) people and rooms 209 and 210 each seat four(4) people.  There is also a conference room located on the second floor in the far north western corner that seats ten(10) comfortably.  For more detailed and specific information about meeting rooms, please read through our meeting room policy.  To reserve a study room, please contact the Library at 262-673-8240 and press 2 to be connected with the Reference Desk. To reserve the Conference Room or the Community Room, please call 262-673-8240 and press 6 to be connected to the Administrative Services Assistant.
 
Wireless Internet Access (WiFi)
 
The Jack Russell Memorial Library offers free WiFi.  Please stop at the circulation desk, the youth services desk or upstairs at the reference for the password.
 
Photocopying
A public, coin-operated photocopier is located on the first floor, across from the Young Adult section. The machine also accepts $1 and $5 bills.  All copies are made on white paper.  Colored photocopy paper is not available.
 
$.10 for letter (8 1/2 x 11) black and white per side
$.10 for legal (8 1/2 x 14) black and white per side
$.25 for ledger (11 x 17) black and white per side
$.50 for color, all sizes, per side
 
Microfilm Reader Printer (located upstairs just outside of the Hartford History Room)
 
$.25 per side, black and white only.  Color printing is not available at this time.
 
Fax Service: (fax number is 262-673-8080)
 
Outgoing - $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 each page thereafter, local, long distance or toll free.
Incoming - $1.50 for the first page and $1.00 each page thereafter. Before sending a fax to the library, please call 262-673-8240 and press 0 (zero) to notify staff.
Patrons utilizing the fax service are responsible for their own cover page.  Faxing is available at the circulation desk.
    
Computers
 
17 PCs available to the public through out the building located in the following areas:
   5 PC's in the children's area
   4 PC's in the young adult area
   8 PC's upstairs at the reference desk
 
Software includes Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) .  Call for details and how to log in.
 
There is a charge of $.10 per page, per side for printing in black and white and $.50 per page, per side for printing in color.  All printing is made on white paper.  Colored photocopy paper is not available for printing.
 
There is one(1) computer in the children's department pre-loaded with a variety of educational games.  It does not have access to the internet.  It is available on a first come, first serve basis during regular library hours.
 
Laptop Computers
 
The JRML has a limited number of laptop computers available for in-library use during regular business hours. Laptops are available for checkout at the circulation desk. A valid library card or driver's license is required to checkout a laptop, which will be given back once the computer is returned.  Patrons using the library's laptop computers are responsible for the unit while it is their possession which includes the responsibility for any damage or theft that may occur.  Laptop computers shall be turned in 15 minutes prior to closing.  Patrons will be notified via the an announcement made by staff.
 
Document Scanning
 
No charge.  Please bring a jump drive for scans to be saved.  Available in the children's department or upstairs at the reference desk.
